Old TV show/ series?

Posted 1 Week ago by Lord Denida

I stumbled on something on YouTube where they talked back in March where Ally McBeal revive were considered by creator David E Kelley. (Like the Judge in 'The good Place' mentioned, they revive everything else lol) This made me want to rewatch it and it sure does take me back lol

It was one of those (English speaking shows) I really liked, like;

The A-Team.
Knight Rider
Airwolf.
21 Jump Street.
The Fugitive (The original)

What about you. Any old ones you really liked, or do you even remember these?

Red Dwarf was pretty good (even if I never got around to finishing it).

That sounds familiar but haven't seen it. Science Fiction?

Yeah, it's an old English comedy sci-fi about a janitor (I think?) winding up as the sole survivor of the Red Dwarf (a spaceship), because he was put into stasis as a punishment. It's been long enough that the descendents of his pregnant pet cat he snuck onto the ship have evolved into humanoids and subsequently died out with the exception of a single one.

Interesting, but if good why didn't see all of it?

How old are we talking here? What are we considering an old show / series?

Of the ones you mentioned, 21 Jump Street's been on my to-see list forever, but I don't know anything about it haha I actually thought it was a movie :X

Any shows that no longer are running.

You should see the original. That movie was based on the 80's show with people like Johnny Depp.

Plus just remembered another; VICE CITY!

Vice city had one too, but just like 21, skip them and go to original instead cause they are amazing lol

When I think about it, it's funny.

I wasn't much into TV series and never really stuck with many of them.

Most of the TV Series I watched would've been Disney or Nickelodeon shows. By the time I was a teenager, I was more into movies than TV series and that's been a trend.

Outside of like, Star Trek, Babylon 5, SG-1, and The Lost Room, which I only watched because I was with a group, I can't think of old TV shows I've watched.

I guess Hitchcock Presents would count, as an alternative to The Twilight Zone, but that got predictable after a while (as did The Twilight Zone) lol ... and then they were followed up by Black Mirror. I saw the hype for that at first but lost interest after a weekend of watching.

I think my attention span is too short to focus on most TV series, at least at the point of noticing patterns that make it predictable and kill the immersion for me.

Just not really into watching TV. I'm more of a reader. Probably because reading lets me set my own pace, rather than forcing me to follow the show's pacing (I've got ADHD).
